Imphal, 15th Sept (NEN): More than 150 non local peoples mostly labourers who have been staying in different parts of the city area were picked up by the Imphal west police team and kept at a Dharmasala in Thangal Bazar area under City police station after the Incident of 13 September in which 9 non local labourer hailing from Assam were killed in a powerful bomb blast at Khuyathong Pukhri Achouba Mapal and left atleast 11 injured all labourers of Kolkata Based Simplex company engage in construction of Naga Nala.

Imphal, 15th Sept (NEN): Manipur Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam who is also holding the portfolio of State Home Minister and state Director General of Police M K Das today visited Shija hospital where the Labourers of the Simplex Company who were injured in a powerful bomb blast on 13th September inside a temporary shed build above Naga Nala at Khouyathong Pukhri Achouba Mapal at around 7.

Imphal, Sep 13 (NEN): A powerful improvised explosive device (IED) blast went off inside the temporary shed where the non-labourer workers of Simplex were engaged in construction of Naga Nala, killing nine of them and injuring 12 others at Khoyathong Pukhri Achouba Mapal under the city police station, Imphal West at around 7:30 pm on Friday.

Imphal, Sep 13 (NEN): Just a few days after three militant groups signed a peace agremeent with the Manipur state government in a homecoming ceremony held at the 1st Manipur Rifle Banquet Hall on 9 September, self-styled Army-in-Chief of KCP Nongdren Khomba, Laishram Gunimani was arrested by a combined team of Imphal East Commando, Thoubal Commando and Column 30 Assam Rifles on Thursday at around 7:00 pm from Kongba Heikru Thong when the he came to collect an extortion money of Rs 3 lakhs served from the District Forest Officer (DFO) of Kongba.
